DIRECTOR
Nick is a registered builder with over 25 years of experience in the building industry. When starting out as an apprentice, he had a vision to work for Australia’s largest tier 1 builders; a vision that has inspired his career choices.
Over his time in the industry, Nick has worked on larger residential and commercial projects such as hospitals, major sporting facilities, the State Library architectural revamp, Melbourne Museum, Burleigh Tunnel and the Bolte Bridge. He complemented this practical experience with studies in construction, management and OH, serving as a skilled supervisor for several high-end residential firms.
With his unparalleled experience, Nick aims to deliver impactful construction results, developing exceptional designs that align perfectly with client goals.
Principal Architect and Project Manager
John is a registered architect with the ARBV and has been actively involved in the profession for many years. During his career, John has worked in all facets of the industry, from multi-level commercial buildings to high-end residential homes and everything in between.
For 17 years John led a successful design and build business in South Australia and now brings that expertise to Nicon Built. John’s passion for architecture is unsurpassed – he becomes actively engrossed with every project and takes a very personal level of interest to ensure that all outcomes meet our clients’ brief.
John’s role at Nicon Built is to work closely with all stakeholders – clients, builder and other consultants, to help with the progression from design through to handover. John’s involvement does not end at the start of the building phase; he also undertakes a project management role with Nicon Built, working collaboratively with the building team to ensure the best outcome for the clients.
Project Manager and Site Manager
Callum is a qualified carpenter who began his career with an apprenticeship under a well-respected volume builder. Callum’s career in volume building saw him undertake roles and responsibilities well beyond his age, achieving the highest levels of success within the industry.
Callum’s passion for the industry and his zest to learn saw him move into the custom building industry with a bespoke builder from the inner west, where he swiftly undertook the role of leading hand on custom luxury homes. Callum joined Nicon Built as a site manager and has become responsible for the daily on-site management of our projects.
As a site manager, Callum is the main point of contact once a project begins and helps guide our clients through their projects effortlessly and thoughtfully, espousing the broad range of skills he has developed over his years in the industry. Callum spends his spare time designing and building bespoke furniture.
